Co-founder of Russia’s Domodedovo airport detained
MOSCOW, Feb 18 (PRIME) -- Dmitry Kamenshchik, a co-founder of Russia’s Domodedovo International Airport, was detained and charged with providing services that do not meet safety requirements, Investigative Committee spokesman Dmitry Markin told reporters on Thursday.
The Moscow Basmanny Court will consider whether to arrest him on Friday.
On January 24, 2011, an explosion hit the baggage-claim area of Domodedovo; 37 people, including foreigners, were killed, and 172 people were injured.
